The quartet delivers bright moments with a loose yet precise “You’d Be So Nice to Come Home To,” a “Bags Groove”-inspired “Red Pepper Blues,” and a delicate “Imagination,” while Pepper’s collaborations with Chambers on the lively “Waltz Me Blues” and fast-paced “Straight Life” showcase his virtuosity.
